Charlotte Colony

The Charlotte Colony meets twice a year, our spring meeting was held April 19th at the Doubletree Hilton in Charlotte.  Members enjoyed a plated lunch and a Mayflower “show & tell” from members. 

Our fall meeting is scheduled for November 22nd at the Southpark Regional Library.  Our guest speaker is Sarah Sue Hardinger who is a noted historian and author.  She will speak about Colonial America, specifically the Jamestown Colony.  Sarah Sue authored a fictionalized history of the first twelve years of the Jamestown colony entitled  Ring of Luck. It is the first novel based on the last two decades of archaeological work at the Jamestown Fort.
