Piedmont Colony

Governor Bill Ewalt, as a member of the Piedmont Colony, has contacted its membership as to restarting colony meetings.

He will work with the Piedmont Colony membership and hopes to schedule a meeting in the months ahead. There are currently 32 members of the Piedmont colony.

    History Note

    The New Garden Friends Meeting has been welcoming members since 1754 in Greensboro. Descendants of John Howland through his daughter Hope Howland and her husband John Chipman are among them. Some of these descendants are current members of our society
